To Democracy4all είναι μια ανοιχτή πρωτοβουλία που στοχεύει στην ουσιαστική και ενεργό συμμετοχή των ανθρώπων με προσφυγικό και μεταναστευτικό υπόβαθρο στην πολιτική διαδικασία.
Πιστεύουμε ότι η ουσιαστική πολιτική συμμετοχή δεν μπορεί να υπάρξει χωρίς μια κοινωνία που αναγνωρίζει και αγκαλιάζει τη διαφορετικότητα.
Μέσα από δημόσιες εκδηλώσεις, καμπάνιες ενημέρωσης, βιωματικά εργαστήρια και συνεργασίες με τοπικούς φορείς, στόχος μας είναι να χτίσουμε γέφυρες κατανόησης, να καταρρίψουμε τον φόβο και να αναδείξουμε το κοινό όραμα της συμβίωσης και της συμμετοχής.
Στο Democracy4all, κινητοποίηση σημαίνει να δίνουμε χώρο, μέσα και ευκαιρίες σε ανθρώπους και κοινότητες για να περάσουν από τη σιωπή στη φωνή, και από την αδράνεια στη δράση.
Στόχος μας είναι η δημιουργία ενός βιώσιμου κινήματος για συμμετοχή, ηγεσία και εκπροσώπηση, με πρωταγωνιστές εκείνους που συχνά μένουν στο περιθώριο. Για εμάς, η κινητοποίηση δεν είναι μόνο ζήτημα παρουσίας — είναι πράξη πολιτικής ισότητας και συλλογικής ενδυνάμωσης.
Για εμάς, η αυτοεκπροσώπηση σημαίνει τα άτομα να μην είναι αμέτοχα μπροστά στην ανισότητα, αλλά να διεκδικούν καλύτερους όρους ζωής.
Η αυτοεκπροσώπηση ή self-advocacy έχει να κάνει με τη δυνατότητα ενός ατόμου να υποστηρίξει τα δικαιώματά του με δημοκρατικό τρόπο, διεκδικώντας καλύτερους όρους ζωής. Στo Democracy4all, πιστεύουμε ότι οι άνθρωποι με προσφυγικό και μεταναστευτικό υπόβαθρο πρέπει να έχουν τον πρώτο και τελευταίο λόγο όταν πρόκειται για τις ανάγκες τους και τη θέση τους στην κοινωνία, για αυτό και οι δράσεις μας βασίζονται στην προώθηση του self-advocacy.
Οι καμπάνιες της Democracy4all είναι ένας ζωντανός μηχανισμός διεκδίκησης, διαλόγου και συλλογικής ενεργοποίησης.
Μέσα από τις καμπάνιες μας φέρνουμε στο προσκήνιο τα αιτήματα, τις φωνές και τη συνεισφορά των ανθρώπων με μεταναστευτικό και προσφυγικό υπόβαθρο, διεκδικώντας μια κοινωνία που αντιστέκεται στο ρατσισμό, την ξενοφοβία και τη μισαλλοδοξία.
Η υποστήριξή σου είναι πολύτιμη για να συνεχίσουμε να διεκδικούμε μια δημοκρατία που ανήκει σε όλους.
